Call for Steward Nominations... (Jan. 28/09)
At this time the Nominating Committee would like to put a CALL OUT FOR NOMINATIONS for Vacancies in the following work groups:

• Administration Staff - 4 openings
• Scientific - 1 opening
• Secretarial and Office - 4 openings
• Service and Buildings - 2 openings

This will be for the rest of the existing 2-year term ending in September 2009.There are two ways to nominate an individual:

1. Send your nomination by email, copying the individual your are nominating for. They need to accept the nomination.
2. Send your nomination by internal mail with the individual you are nomination for signing their acceptance to the nomination.

Send to Nancy Elliott in care of the mailroom or nancyelliott"at"trentu.ca. All nominations must be received no later than February 10 at 4:00 pm. If elections are necessary times and places will be announced.

As a result of January's call for stewards, we have a new body of Stewards, who will be in for a 2 year term ending in September 2009. Visit our Steward Body page for a complete list.

AGM (All General Meeting) Wednesday Jan. 30 2008 at 6:30 p.m.
A meeting of all members is scheduled for Wednesday January 30 2008, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 317 Hunter Street West, Peterborough.
At this meeting members will vote on for executive members (President, etc.) as well as membership on committees and delegates for convention.

Tentative Agreement Ratified...
The latest tentative agreement was ratified by the membership at the meeting on Wednesday Nov. 28. See Bargaining Bulletin Nov. 29 2007.

Ratification Meeting Wednesday Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
A meeting of all members is scheduled for Wednesday November 28, starting at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Rockhaven Motel & Convention Centre, 1875 Lansdowne Street West, Peterborough.
At this ratification meeting members will vote on the newest tenative settlement.
